AI Search qo'llanmasi: qidiruv qanday o'zgardi

Why your customers now ask ChatGPT instead of Google, and what it means for your business. Plain explanation, no technical terms — 10 minutes.

Search has changed. Customers find you differently now.

Yesterday customers searched only through Google. Today they ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude — and get a recommendation.

If your business isn't adapted to the new kind of search, you're losing customers to competitors without knowing it.

What exactly changed?

You don't need technical knowledge to see it. Just compare two pictures.

2015 — how it was

Google → Website → Customer

The customer typed a query into Google. Dozens of links appeared. They picked one, visited the site and decided for themselves.

Your job was to be on that list.

2026 — how it is now

ChatGPT · Claude · Gemini · Perplexity → Recommendation

Today the customer asks a question and gets one finished answer. No list, no choice — just a recommendation.

Your job now is to be inside that recommendation.

Why this matters for your business

More visibility

Wherever the customer searches — Google, ChatGPT or Gemini — they find you. You stop depending on a single channel.

More trust

When AI recommends you, it isn't advertising. To the customer it reads as neutral advice, and that carries more weight than any ad.

Better customers

Someone who arrives through search didn't come by accident. They were looking for exactly your service. That puts them closer to a deal.

Long-term growth

Stop the ads and the flow of customers stops with them. A position in search keeps working for you.

What SEO actually is

Picture the busiest bazaar in the city. Two shops: one at the entrance, one in the back row.

Same product. Same price. Same service. But hundreds of people walk into the first one every day, and a handful into the second.

Google is that bazaar. SEO is the work of moving your shop from the back row to the entrance.

That's why "I have a website" doesn't mean "customers find me". The site exists — it may simply be standing in the back row.

Caption: A real result. For the query "Telegram ads Uzbekistan" the top organic result is a Pulse client, Meridians. Competitors sit below. This is what "the shop at the entrance" looks like in practice.

What AI Search is

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity are not search engines. They are answer engines.

They don't hand you a list of links. They give one answer, naming a few companies inside it.

The difference is fundamental: in Google you can still be found in tenth place. In an AI answer you are either named, or you don't exist for that customer.

ChatGPT. Asked "Which company makes premium MDF doors in Uzbekistan?", the answer lists three companies and singles one out at the end. Companies that didn't make the list are invisible in this answer.

Gemini. Different platform, different industry, different question — the mechanics are identical: the first company named opens the list. In both answers above, the company mentioned first is a Pulse client.

What decides who AI recommends:

  • Information on your site is structured so AI can read it
  • You're mentioned in other credible sources
  • The questions customers ask have direct answers on your site

How SEO and AI Search work together

The old approach: SEO → Google rankings → website visits

The modern approach: Google + AI Search → foundation of trust → AI recommendation → customer

AI systems read both Google and your website. If your site is built properly for Google, it will be readable for AI too.

So one doesn't replace the other — they reinforce each other.

What happens if you do nothing

This isn't scaremongering. It's what's happening in the market right now.

Competitors become visible. They appear in AI answers. The customer only sees the names that were spoken.

AI recommends someone else. If your name isn't in the answer, the customer never hears it.

Organic visits decline. AI answers move to the top of the page and ordinary links get pushed down.

Trust erodes. If AI tells someone something outdated or wrong about you, they won't verify it — they'll just pick someone else.

Every one of these is fixable. The only question is when you start.

Is your business ready?

Five questions. Answer honestly — this is already a mini audit.

  1. Can you be found in Google?
  2. Does ChatGPT recommend you?
  3. Does AI know correct information about your company?
  4. Are competitors ahead of you?
  5. When was your last SEO audit?

If you can't answer even one of them with confidence, an audit is the shortest route to the answer.
